Sooooooooooo......I was supposed to do this yesterday, but I didn't really feel like it honestly. So I'm doing it today!
This past week has been a ton of fun with my cousins being here. We did the incline, Ethan had a football camp, We went out for coffee, and just had a lot of fun. They left at 2 am yesterday, and so we stayed up watching Psych (me, Jessi, Mandee, and Ethan) until they had to leave.

Adventure Time!

Good Morning!!!
So my family arrived here last night, and I am so super happy! We were up pretty late last night so if this post is a little scattered, it's because I'm tired. Honestly, most of the week has passed so quickly I haven't really even stopped to think about everything that's gone on! (I'm a busy busy person)
Well, we had the Internship on Monday and Wednesday, and that was so much fun as usual. Figured out that Jake and I will be leading worship for the Interns on Monday, so I'm super excited for that!
On Thursday Mandee and I went bowling and it was so much fun!!! I missed bowling so much!! My scores were 192, 233, and 173. Also on Thursday, our good friend Jack took Mandee and I on an adventure around lunch time! We went to fox run park and had a picnic, it was so much fun.

Getting Back In The Swing Of Things

Alright!! This Saturday things will go back to normal, and I will be posting regularly on Saturday!
So crazy week guys! Went to Moore, Oklahoma to help with disaster relief, met some awesome people and helped a lot of people. The whole experience was seriously mind blowing, physically and mentally tiring, but I enjoyed the experience very much. The work was hard at first, but became easier as days went on. Worship time at the end of the day was amazing, and I was able to be apart of the worship team one night. Also, my sister taught one night! Got close to the people I worked with and had a great time getting to know people, and making new friends.
Monday we went to do the Incline! Jake, Sam, Jayson, Mandee, Mom, and I did it, we all made it to the top too! Made it to the top in 56 min. which is my new record!
Then today went on a hike up to pulpit rock, the view was amazing!

June 7th - Why Am I Posting On A Friday? - Going On A Missions Trip!

Heyy Everyone!! So you may be saying to yourself...Marissa, it's Friday, you're supposed to post every Saturday.... Well here is my explanation for not being able to post tomorrow! I am leaving tomorrow to go on a missions trip to Moore, OK where I will be helping the people affected by the damage caused by the tornados. Honestly, I am a little nervous about the whole trip but excited at the same time. This is my first missions trip! So when I get back I will have a lot to say about the trip and hopefully some pictures to show you.
Anyways this week was an eventful week! Starting with Monday, me and some friends did the Incline! That was so much fun and exhausting....but mostly exhausting. Also on Monday my dog Coconut decided to chew up my top retainer! How wonderful. So I made an appointment and got my new retainer yesterday, and I am paying for it. My orthodontist is....AMAZING and made me a deal of only paying $75 for the new retainer and bringing in some cookies!! I love my orthodontist so much. Monday was the first day of our Internship at Sunrise Church, and that was a lot of fun as well!
On Tuesday I met up with Jake (a friend I made in the Internship/Mission Trip Group) and we played guitar together. That was a lot of fun! Also I got fitted for my new retainer this day.
On Wednesday was the second day of the Internship. We had our bible studies and were put in our break out groups of our choice (my choices were Worship and Video). Worship is by far my favorite right now, one of our assignments is to write a song, and I am really looking forward to that, I am also looking forward to the voice instruction.
Yesterday we went to the mall! I tried on those heels with no heel and got a new amazing straightner! I've been saving up for one for a while, and so I finally made my purchase.

June First - First Post - Summer Begins!

Hey all! It's June 1st!!! and so my summer adventures begin.
I don't really have too much to talk about in my first post...but I do have a little stuff to talk about.
First off I took the SAT today, so I had to wake up early. I had to wake up early. Just in case you didn't get that, I had to wake up early! annnnd I had to take a test! What nonesense is this?! Anyways, I am glad it is over with and I am hoping I did well on it.
The rest of this lovely day has been dedicated to Song Pop, reading, listening to music, and singing at the top of my lungs while deciding whether or not to clean my room.
